INTRODUCTION AND AIM: This study, which builds on previous research demonstrating that drinking motives are associated with adverse consequences, investigates the associations between drinking motives and non-alcohol-attributed adverse consequences and disentangles alcohol-related and direct effects. Die Prävalenzraten für die verschiednen Formen von Depression (depressiven Stimmungen, depressiven Syndromen und Major Depression) haben in den letzten Jahren zugenommen, die Geschlechtsunterschiede mit deutlich höheren Raten für Mädchen haben sich erhöht. Als ätiologische Faktoren für das Auftreten von Depression werden u. a. zunehmende Stressfaktoren, dysfunktionale Bewältigungsstile, ein negatives Körperkonzept und unsichere Bindungsmuster genannt. Body image and adolescence: A behavioral impairment model.

Adolescence is a period marked by important physical and social changes that can lead to a negative body image. The purpose of this study was to find a model enabling the appearance of behavioral impairment related to body image (restrictions, avoidance, and checking) to be predicted by body image attitudes (concern or Appearance Orientation, and dissatisfaction or Appearance Evaluation), Gender, emotional symptomatology, self-consciousness, ideas of reference (IR) and age.
